Non Serviam  : Noli Subicere
Hearken, ye defiant ones!
Eat thou the tainted flesh, and drink the blood of uprising.
Cast aside their false eucharist,
and despise ye the gilded lie.
Sharpen thy senses upon the veil of shadow,
and let thine eyes cleave unto the yawning void.
Be as comets rending their heavens asunder,
be as wolves unbinding the hearts of men.
Drink yea, drink unto desolation,
and unto the casting down of every tyrant that sitteth above.
For I have wrought mine own law beyond the trodden ways of man,
a heretic not by falling, but by denying their yoke.
The earth did roar beneath me as the tempest rose,
and my rebellion was girded about with flame.
No chaos crowneth me
for I am the lone ember that learned to burn unbidden.
In the rending of their decrees
did I fashion the first breath of mine own becoming.
I lift no idols unto the sky
but kindle minds tempered in silence and in fire.
Remember ye those who walked beside me,
for I shall reign amid ruins and shadow,
rather than bow, dust-like, beneath any throne.
